This yearly calendar provides one simple project per month to add to your "to-do" list in order to ensure your home is in top shape.

In addition to the yearly maintenance projects noted above, you should also do the following monthly-- test smoke detectors, drain hot water tank to remove sediment/check for leaks, inspect electrical cords, check circuit breakers, check water softener; add salt as needed, clean garbage disposal, check/service/replace fire extinguishers, and check for leaks under sinks and around dishwasher and toilets.
